Flexible dieting has changed my outlook on life, boosted my self esteem and my relationship with food. In an effort to try and lose those last 10 pounds I found myself in a constant cycle of losing and gaining weight. Yes I would reach my goal, but shortly after I would find myself back where I started with more weight to lose than when I started. I was basically spinning my wheels, until I started flexible dieting through macro counting. At the start of my journey 3 years ago, I made the mistake many do when first starting to count macros and went directly into fat loss, which still had me eating very low calories. 3 months ago I switched things up, started eating more calories than I ever have and I am well on my way to losing that final 10 pounds and I am finally in the best shape of my life. I am no longer starving myself, I eat foods I love and I am finally not feeling deprived when it comes to eating food.

What do I need to get started?
- A food scale that measures in grams, oz, ml (Amazon has some great ones that are inexpensive)
- My Fitness Pal Premium (to help you track your macros accordingly)
- Plastic or glass tupperware to store your meals for the week
- Measuring tape and body weight scale for weekly check ins
